- For staff who are normally scheduled to work remotely:
- You will work as usual
- For staff who normally work in the office:
- If your duties allow you to work remotely, please use today to coordinate with your manager to make the necessary arrangements.
- For providers who currently have an in-office hours schedule:
-
The Scheduling team is updating it and will be ready by Monday morning
- If during the THV you determine that a patient needs to be seen in person, please use the Paired Visit workflow.
-
- For providers who were scheduled to precept:
-
The residents’ schedules will be converted to THV and added to your schedules.
-
We will continue to monitor conditions and share any additional updates as needed.
Thank you for your flexibility and continued focus on patient care and safety.
Here are a few reminders to help you stay prepared throughout the season:
• Drive with caution: Winter roads can be unpredictable. Allow extra travel time, reduce speed, and brake gently to maintain control.
• Dress for the weather: Layering helps keep you warm and comfortable, especially when wind chills are low.
• Equip your vehicle: Keep an ice scraper, blanket, flashlight, and a few snacks in your car in case of delays or emergencies.
• Watch your footing: Be alert for icy patches, even on salted walkways. Walk slowly and use handrails when available.
• Confirm office status before leaving home: Do not begin your commute until you have confirmed that Westside offices are open.
• If you have concerns, reach out: If you have questions about safety or travel conditions, contact your supervisor or Office Manager before heading out. Your safety comes first.
• Remote work reminder: Staff who are fully remote or hybrid and able to work remotely should continue with their normal schedule during office closures or delays.
• If offices are closed: We will make every effort to transition appropriate appointments to telehealth.
