30th Anniversary
In August 1988, Westside Family Healthcare opened its doors with a mission to provide health services to families living in underserved neighborhoods on the west side of Wilmington. Thirty years later Westside remains a constant source for the compassionate care that families depend on to live vibrant, healthy lives. We reach beyond conventional medicine to address social, emotional and economic factors that affect our neighbors.
We are celebrating our 30th anniversary with a year full of special events and a goal to raise $200,000. Funds raised will help support patient care and expand access to critical health services. Please consider becoming a sponsor and celebrate this milestone with us.

VIRTUAL 5K/10K The Westside Way 30th Annual Run and Walk
VIRTUAL EVENT! 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of Westside’s annual 5K/10K run and walk. This year’s event will be VIRTUAL. You can race anytime, anywhere in the month of August. Click here to register and learn more!
Lolita Lopez’s 30th Anniversary Garden Bash
A special event will celebrate Lolita Lopez’s 30 years as President & CEO of Westside Family Healthcare. This fun, casual fundraiser will support our mission.
Growing Healthy Families Event Series
CANCELED FOR 2020! The Growing Healthy Families program combines community events with addressing social determinants of health. Designed to provide community resources to families in need, the events attract community members to participate in health screenings, a resource fair, and much more. This year, two events will be held in Wilmington and one event will be held in Dover. Year-round, Westside uses funds from this program to address non-clinical needs of patients.
Westside’s FriendsGiving: Guest Bartender Event
CANCELED FOR 2020! Westside is hosting a guest bartender event featuring local “celebrities” pouring libations for a great cause. This crowd-funding campaign is a great opportunity to get involved as a bartender, join us for a night on the town, or for sponsors for a matching gift
