Appointment Information
To help best serve you and all of our patients, please follow this precaution:
- Call 302-224-6800 to discuss your symptoms if you have a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath before coming into the office.
- To protect our patients and staff, we are limiting the volume of people in our health centers. If a patient needs a caregiver present for their in-person visit, please limit it to one person. In some cases, we may ask the caregiver to wait outside or in their car during the appointment.
- Most people who are experiencing coronavirus symptoms do not need to go to the emergency department. Do not go to the emergency department unless you are experiencing symptoms that are severe or life-threatening.
All patients and visitors will be asked a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken before entering the health centers. All individuals age 2 and older entering our health centers will be asked to wear a face covering. Learn more about options for face coverings here.

Extra Safety Measures
We are taking extra safety measures to make sure our locations are safe for your visit, including:
- Screening all staff, patients, and visitors for COVID-19 as they arrive at a Westside location, including taking temperatures and reviewing symptoms
- Waiting room layouts are updated to limit the number of patients and visitors in health centers to ensure social distancing
- Requiring everyone in our locations to wear face coverings, this includes providers, patients two years and older, and visitors. A face covering will be provided if you arrive without one.
- Taking some registration information over the phone before your visit to reduce in-person interactions and time spent at the health center
- Daily deep cleaning of our locations to kill viruses and bacteria on surfaces
PROTECT YOU AND THOSE AROUND YOU
The best way to fight Coronavirus (and the Flu) is through proper hygiene:
- Stay home – only leave the house if necessary
- Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds under warm water with soap. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Teach your children proper hygiene practices as well
- Don’t shake hands with people – they will understand
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
- Get your Flu shot if you haven’t already (Free Flu shots available for Westside patients )
Again, if you are coming into our health centers and you have a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath, please call 302-224-6800 before coming into the office. To protect our patients and staff, we are limiting the volume of people in our health centers. If a patient needs a caregiver present for their in-person visit, please limit it to one person. In some cases, we may ask the caregiver to wait outside or in their car during the appointment.
We are here to help, and we remain open to care for our patients. Please see our Patient FAQs for more information.
