WESTSIDE FAMILY HEALTHCARE’S JAIME EPPLER, MPH, COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST AWARDED NATION’S FIRST 340B ACE CERTIFICATION FROM APEXUS

Wilmington, DE (April, 2017) Westside Family Healthcare’s Compliance Specialist, Jamie Eppler, MPH became the nation’s first recipient of the Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate (ACE).

The Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program offers specialized in-depth training to individuals who are in high-impact positions regarding 340B Drug Pricing Program implementation. The 340B Drug Pricing Program plays a critical role in helping covered entities to better serve their communities, and the individuals who administer the program help ensure access to high quality care for our most vulnerable patients. The need to improve program integrity and compliance by understanding the requirements and operational considerations of the 340B Program has never been greater.

By completing the Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program, Ms. Eppler is now prepared with the resources and expertise needed to solve 340B implementation challenges and rigorously comply with the requirements of the 340B Program.

“The ACE certificate program afforded me the foundational knowledge necessary to manage a successful 340B program. I’m eager to apply what I’ve learned and I look forward to establishing myself as Westside’s 340B expert,” said Jaime Eppler, MPH.

Ms. Eppler completed a rigorous 24 module training course and then passed the Operations Certificate Final Exam. The assessment-based certificate program offers specialized and thorough training on the implementation considerations within the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The curriculum provides an in-depth review of policy around 340B requirements and guidance on how to apply that policy in support of 340B operational integrity. The education series evaluates decision points, potential compliance challenges, and audit areas of focus for each topic.

“Congratulations to [Ms.] Eppler for achieving the highest certification available for 340B Program training,” said Apexus President Chris Hatwig, MS, RPh, FASHP.  “Training and education are essential for program integrity and compliance.”
