Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Health Services

We care for our migrant and seasonal agricultural worker community in Kent and western Sussex counties. Our mobile health outreach team of providers, nurses, and community health workers provide care where patients live and work. We partner with many growers and use our mobile health unit to remove the barriers to care that many migrant and seasonal agricultural workers face daily.

During Delaware’s growing season, our mobile health outreach team is onsite at local farms and housing communities to provide basic primary care services. These services are typically provided in the evening. Our work is supported by a Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Health Advisory Council made up of key stakeholders in the community.

If you are interested in learning more about our program, please contact the Supervisor of Rural Health Outreach, Reynaldo Gomez at reynaldo.arriazagomez@westsidehealth.org or 302-678-4622 x 1525.
